Exceptional value

Having had BMW and Mercedes for more than 10 years finally got too despondent with maintenance bills, to be fair it was the Mercedes that was the nail in the German coffin. Picked up a low mileage Duster early 2017 and could not be more pleased. I suffer with a spinal complaint and comfort for me is great, as is the softer ride given by large sidewall tyres that also minimise alloy wheels damage. Has all the tech I need including alarm and parking sensors, heated seats would be nice though! Bang on truempg of 44 mpg calculated by mileage, although trip computer not far off. Personally find it a quiet and relaxing vehicle to drive with a light clutch and controls but gear ratios could be wider spread in my opinion. Boot space is deceptively large and handles tip runs with ease and haven't had to resort to my van yet to pick up work materials. On the NCAP rating all I can say is it has more safety equipment than my last vehicle and feel secure with family travelling with me. Have transported 4 adults and 1 child frequently without issue and in comfort, the diesel engine coping perfectly well. Build quality is fine, and I am a fussy old git , and reassurance of 4 wheel drive a big factor (can drive a 4X4 without looking a tool) Cheap to maintain and extended warranty gives peace of mind. Hope Dacia stay true to the value ethos in years to come, would happily buy again and keeping an eye out for the new model. In a nutshell the Duster is astounding value for money. Dealership could have been better, found myself explaining details to the sales person about the car.
