Ford announces new ST-Line trim for Fiesta and Focus

Ford has announced new a new ST-Line trim level for the Fiesta and Focus, which adds sporty styling and interior details, along with sports suspension, but with wider and more wallet-friendly range of engines than in full-fat ST models. Ford Fiesta ST-Line starts at £15,645 and Focus ST-Line is priced from £20,595.

The Fiesta ST-Line is available in three- or five-door body styles, while the Focus is available in five-door or estate body styles. Both feature a honeycomb grille design, a large rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, deeper side skirts, ST-Line badges and 17-inch alloy wheels unique to ST-Line.

The Fiesta is available with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine producing either 100PS or 140PS. Emissions are 99g/km or 104g/km, respectively, with economy of 65.7mpg for the 100PS engine or 62.8mpg for the 140PS engine. Ford also offers the Fiesta ST-Line with a 1.5-litre TDCI diesel producing 95PS, delivering emissions of 94g/km and economy of 78.5mpg.

The Focus ST-Line is available with a 1.0-litre, 125PS EcoBoost with economy of 60.1mpg and emissions of 108g/km, or a 1.5-litre EcoBoost with either 150PS or 182PS. Emissions are from 127g/km and economy is up to 51.4mpg for the 150PS variant. 

The diesel options are 1.5-litre with 120PS or 2.0-litre with 150PS. Six-speed manual or six-speed powershift automatic transmissions are offered and, in the case of the 120PS TDCi, emissions are as low as 105g/km, with official economy of 70.6mpg.
