Published 25 April 2016

Nissan has introduced a new variant of the X-Trail called Style Edition, priced from £29,405. It’s based on the top-of-the-range Tekna equipment grade, but gains sports pedals, chrome door sills, chrome mirror caps, 19-inch polished black alloy wheels, an additional protective boot trim and a boot floor mat.

That’s in addition to the seven-inch touchscreen, 360 degree reversing camera, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, intelligent park assist, leather upholstery and heated front seats, all fitted as standard to Tekna models.

Five- or seven-seat versions are available, with either a 1.6-litre dCi 130PS diesel engine or a 1.6-litre DIG-T petrol engine with 163PS. There is also a choice of two- or four-wheel drive, as well as manual or XTronic CVT automatic transmissions.
