Facelifted Hyundai i40 available from £19,600

Hyundai has confirmed the pricing and specifications for the revised i40 range. Available to order now, the i40 will emit as little as 110g/km of CO2 and benefit from improved styling and uprated kit. The new models will reach showrooms in May, with the i40 saloon starting from £19,600 while the Tourer estate will be priced from £20,850.

Exterior changes to the i40 are minimal, with a new grille and redesigned front air vents. Front fog lights are now fitted as standard across the range and the headlight clusters have also been restyled, with LED indicators and brake lights added at no extra cost.

The i40 is offered with just one diesel engine, which comes in the form of a 1.7-litre unit, with the choice of 115PS or 141PS. A six-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard, although the 141PS unit gets the choice of Hyundai's new automatic seven-speed DCT dual clutch ’box. CO2 emissions will start from 110g/km.

Prices start at £19,600 for the entry-level i40 saloon in S trim, with 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth and air condition fitted as standard. 

SE Nav is available from £21,600 and adds LED front fog lights, touchscreen navigation with rear view parking. This trim level can be enhanced further in the SE Nav Business model, from £23,100, with keyless smart entry with start/stop button and driver’s seat memory function.

The range topping Premium models start at £25,600 and features 18-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof with electric tilt and slide. A luggage net is also included, along with an LCD colour display and lane departure warning.
