New ‘textured’ matt finished for revised Peugeot 208

Published 30 March 2015

The updated Peugeot 208, due on sale in June, is set to get a new type of matt paint finish. The ‘textured’ paint is, according to Peugeot, more hardwearing than traditional matt paint. It is offered in ‘Ice Grey’ and ‘Ice Silver’ and costs £645.

The new paint finish is applied on the production line and is guaranteed for the lifetime of the car. Buyers can also specify two personalisation packs to complement the new paint finish, in Lime Yellow or Menthol White. These are available for the cabin, the exterior or both.

In total the new 208 will be available with 13 different paint finishes – two textured, two solid, seven metallic, one pearlescent and finally there is a two-tone in matt black and red, available on the GTi only.

The revised 208 is due to arrive in UK showrooms from June and gets new technology and improved efficiency. For more information on the new 208 click here.
