New Skoda Superb SE Business trim launched

Published 24 March 2015

Skoda has launched an SE Business trim for the forthcoming new Superb. As the name suggests, it's aimed at company car drivers and is based on the SE but with extra equipment. However, it's priced the same which means it starts at £21,590 for the 1.6 TDI.

The standard specification includes Alcantara upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, the Amundsen navigation system, Bluetooth and SmartLink which integrates smartphone functions via Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink and Google Android Auto.

From 2016 a wireless charging system will also be standard, so drivers can charge their phones on the move without the need for wires.

Like the SE, the SE Business models come with 17-inch alloy wheels, cornering front fog lights, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning and electrically folding mirrors.

Alongside the 1.6 TDI engine there's also the 2.0 TDI with 150PS, priced from £22,090. A GreenLine version, which is expected to return a claimed 76.4mpg and emit 95g/km CO2, will also join the range shortly after launch.
