Seat releases pictures of new cars

Tue, 10 Feb 2009
Motorists planning on buying a car later this year may be tempted to opt for a Seat model after seeing photos of the manufacturer's latest ranges.

The company has released a number of pictures of its revised Altea and Leon line-ups ahead of the vehicles' official unveiling at the Geneva motor show.

According to Seat, the new models are more attractive than their predecessors and also boast improved engineering and higher equipment specifications.

Steve Robertson, head of marketing, said the latest additions to its range would help the manufacturer enjoy a successful 2009 and "further strengthen its position as a maker of sporty, lively and design-driven cars".

Additional information on prices and specification is due to be made available ahead of the arrival of the vehicles in UK showrooms this summer.

Last month, Seat expressed delight at the success of the Ibiza Ecomotive which was launched in Britain in 2008.
