seat leon fr 2.0 tdi - engine stop please help - Milmek

The engine have stop for me on the motorwai

when I have check with computer I get fault code

00801

A/C Refrigerant High Pressure Switch (F118) when I have erase the engine start but after a few minutes it is stopped so I do a procedure again with a computer but same result

The normal routine is to repair the fault and then clear the code from the ECU. just clearing the fault code will not repair the fault.

Looks like you need to buy a new AC pressure switch.

The a/c pressure sensor fault will not cause the engine to stop running,but dtc 000801 is the engine speed sensor (g28).This could be the problem.hth

Thankyo for tour help. I have chaige the diesel filter and it was very very dirty. I will check the dieseltank and filter in the tank for I think it will be very dearty there to.
