vectra 1.8 year 2000 - mis fire - TOGGY

I have had a problem that is driving me mad !!! Car is mi-firing badly especially around th e 2000 RPM. The engine management light has been on all of the time...

I took it to a mate who works in a garage and he put the code reader on and it is saying that the fault is the throttle body. I got a second hand one which was clean and had the hole drilled out that normally causes the problem. It idled better but still mis firing. Code still says throttle body so i got ANOTHER one from Vaux spares but still no good .. I have done the earthing MOD and it is not th eair flow meter.

MOney is very tight so i dont want to/ cant spend a fortune

Any ideas ??

Common fault on vectras I sugest you look on a few vectra forums normally throttle body or injectors.

I have but like i said i have tried changing Throttle body twice and done the mods but no good

THe error code is for the throttle body
