vsuxhall signum 1.9cdti 120bhp 2006 - noise like air leaking - makgas

my car makes a noise from the front left under the bonte, dont know where this sounds like air hissing from a compreser, it dose it when the turbo comes in once i get high rpm and change gear it gose till the rpm increases again it also stops when i lift off the gas my car is a 2006 iv only had it a few week its only done 38k if it thelps

It will be air leaking from the outlet side of the compressor or most likely a split hose or loose connection.

When you change up or lift off the pressure drops which is why the noise stops.

when i said left sise of car it is the pasenger side

iv haad a look cant see any splits or anything out of place i do get a smell of burning oil when i get out of car at times too now
