Citroen C5 - Multi Faults - noreilly

was reconnecting battery but connected wrong way. Now the following faults appear.

SERVICE

Depollution System

ESP/ASR

ABS Fault

Anyone any ideas what to do.

Probably something has got upset in the ECU, maybe its fried the electronics. Probably won't work but disconnect the battery and leave it for a while before reconnecting it correctly, cannot make it any worse.

Reversing the battery polarity is about the worse thing you can do to a modern car, try as suggested disconnecting the battery, leaving it for a while then reconnect. Before trying to start it leave it for 5 minutes to settle down if its going to, if it doesn't its probably a write off.

How long has this been going on?

As others say disconnect, wait a bit and then re-connect.

Similar issues with our Berlingo after battery failure. Once new battery installed and underlying alternator fault repaired lights went out after a couple of restarts,
