Ford Mondeo - Rear bumper - loobi

I have a 2010 Mondeo diesel, I have noticed that the top of the rear bumper is getting marked in the left and right corners, apparently from the boot lid, there is a good gap when boot is closed and I do not slam boot closed hard.
Is this a common problem, will Ford cover it as part of warranty, or is there a simple fix.

Any information welcome.
