Hi iam thinking about getting a bmw 525d estate auto but iam worried about 2 things.

1.the rear air suspension what goes wrong with it and is it expensive to fix.

2.The auto tiptronic box is it reliable or do they break.

If someone could enlighten me that would be great.

Have a look at the mileages of second hand vehicles on Autotrader some of these have star ship mileage not built as well as the E39(my opinion)but they are no more or less likely to breakdown than any other car plus there are are plenty of sub garages and parts suppliers in the UK.

Hi i do actually currently drive a e39 525d and its a great car and based on this i want to get the newer e60 but just want some knowledge on there faults really.
