Peugeot 406 hdi 90 - puegoet - andyammer

i have recently noticed that i have a slight viberation/judder coming from low down in the engine bay or possibly gearbox when driving under load,its been suggested that this could be the flywheel,the car has 76000miles on the clock and a full peugoet service history,its a 2003 saloon and ive owned it since it was 6mths old,any ideas please?

As far as I am aware the Hdi 90 doesn't have a DMF, the 110 does, I have an estate and that has done over 200,000 miles on the original I believe although the clutch take up point is getting high now.

I would be inclined to look at CV joints or engine mountings, it could even be caused by defective tyres.

thanks very much for your help,i didnt think it could be that,the tyres are good only 6mths old,i will have a look at cv joints and mountings asp,thanks once again

You're welcome. Tyres can develop problems other than wear, a quick check would be to swap the front and backs over.
