hi just got car back from garage after having the alternator replaced expensive yes!!!! now garage has told me the fly wheel is on its way out expensive yes!!!! can hear slight rattle. how long will this last and will it cause any damage if i carry on drivig till it breaks all together

I'd get a 2nd opinion and see what they reckon. If it were my car I'd not be driving it if I thought the DMF was about to go. It can be an expensive thing to replace the DMF and if it does completely let go then other damage could occur adding to the cost.
