Vauxhall Vectra C - Warning light - Bhekie71

Hi

Could someone help out there, i have a 2.0l DTI 52 plate and has started giving me a problem. A car with a spanner in front warning light has started showing and everytime it comes on the car loses power and that is worrying me cause this car has been a faithful servant to me and i know there is still a lot of mileage in that engine. Pliz pliz help and let me know what the problem could be!!!!!!!

What did the owner''s manual say when you looked?

It could be any one of 100s if not 1000s of different faults - but the code(s) for the fault(s) will have been stored - so you need to get the fault codes read and then go from there.

You need to get us some diagnostic codes. You should be able to find a small friendly garage that'll diagnose it for a tenner, or do it yourself with an op-com.

The diagnostic port is somewhere under the dash or near the handbrake, under the trim, and you just plug it into a laptop, or any pc with a long cable.
