Averaging twice on a fifty mile journey, the engine will cut out for three seconds or so, no warnings, no spluttering or anything, just very cleanly on.. off...back on again. If I have to stop the car at these times the idle chuggs at around 500rpm. Whassat then ? Idle stepper motor and oxygen sensor replaced, ECU checked over, nothing changed.
