When the similar gearbox mount failed on my Fiesta 1.4 Tdci, I could move the engine by a couple of inches by hand. Seems like yours is still good. I've repaired the failed mount by cutting small rectangles out of an old bicycle tyre and sticking them down the sides of the rubber which had broken away from the metal frame, and then filling around it with a black compound called "The Works" from Screwfix (£10, but then I had it in for another job, and my local garage wanted over forty quid for a new one). "The Works" sets in a similar manner to Sikaflex 252, but is cheaper. Now let's see if the repaired mounting lasts!
