Ford Focus - keys locked in Ford Focus - rodrod

if your Focus has self locked and keys are in ignition it takes about 15 mins to get them out. I made a special tool for this, anyone can use it really. Happy to share, so get in touch through forum.

Thanks for that. The unfortunate who started the 2009 thread had left his/her keys in the boot, so I donlt think that would have helped. He/she never came back to us, so we'll never know if/how it was resolved.

I locked my Ford keys in the boot--- Had to get the bus home, got my spare key, then back on the bus. Got a bus pass now, so I can just leave trhe car at home now!

Do you have the "Key Card" which came with the original car paperwork? This would enable you to obtain a chipped spare key. Is your spare unavailabl?. Push comes to shove you can break the cheapest window, get the keys and than call Autoglass. No sarcasm intended BTW!
