Vauxhall Vectra B - CD in "safe" mode - robdub

2001 vectra estate factory fitted cd auto changer ccr600. When I change from radio to cd the information console reads "safe" You can change manually on the radio head on on the steering wheel buttons. The result is the same,,,,SAFE

I cannot get the cd to operate. any suggestions appreciated. many thanks

the radio cd system on cars with a multi changer requires 2 pass codes.One for the radio and one for the cd changer.The cd unit is asking for a 4 digit code which is entered via the radio buttons.hth
