Volkswagen passat TDI (D and I red) - Changing the oil - Ardit

Hello!

I am using a volkswagen passat which is produced in 2002 and i want to change the oil, my VW has 175 000 km. What kind of oil do you suggest me: 5 W 40 or 10 W 40?

You use whatever's suitable. RTFM and get the correct ACEA/API grade. The viscosity's (??W/??) dependant on the ambient temperature of your environment.

PD engines are fussy about their oil. For your engine, it should meet 506.01 requirements.
