after having had a new dual mass flywheel and clutch fitted to my car should the pedal be very light (considerably more than before) should the biting point be towards the top of the pedal travel ie 3/4 of the way up and should this have affected my brakes making them less responsive / sharp.

hi peter. i dont know the make of either component, its the first time ive taken my car to this garage and i really dont know the people there. i possibly try and find out. does it make a difference?? thanks jcc

Take the car back and let them check it out and whilst there find out what make they fitted.
