Vauxhall Astra - Service History - leeming01

I have recently purchased a second hand Vauxhall Astra for which the garage who sold me the car has stated they have no service history. They are refusing to help so I am trying to get hold of information myself. I have tried the main dealer who originally sold the car, unfortunatley they don't have any details. I have also checked the MOT garages and they don't have any service history either. Can anyone help?

If the vehicle has been privately owned check the V5 document for previous owner details then write to them including an SAE. Worked for me on a previous car I bought without history.

If you are able to track down the garage(s) that serviced the car, it is possible to buy a duplicate Vauxhall service booklet and have it officially stamped up. I had to do this with my Astra - although it was relatively easy as the car had been hired to a friend's company for 3 years and always serviced from new at the same dealers.
