Hi guys... a ring has dropped to the floor & disappeared into the floorpan on my friend's A4 (it's the current shape). Can't be found with fingers or torch but there are a few places it could have dropped down. He obviously doensn't want to start taking the seats out, but is willing to take it to a garage, I am loathe to get him to take it to Audi as I can see them charging £500 in labour to remove the seats & carpet, but I will if I have to, the item lost was irreplaceable. My mate lives in Hemel Hempstead, south Herts, does anyone know of a good independent (Audi / VAG?) specialist that is very honest that might be able to help please? I have a Boxster & find that the independent garages do a better job & for less money than the main dealers & for a job like this I really need somewhere honest & reliable...
