VW Passat 2.0 sports diesel, 06 plate - Not sure when and what service to do??? - harry55

Hi. Can anyone out here give me some help or advice. I think I may have accidently reset my service indicator when I was trying to get it to just disaply next service due. The indicator (using the spanner button) now says next service due 9,400 miles or 744 days. (It did come up with "service now" in red but no longer shows this message as I may have reset it.) The last service was done at 71,000 in November 2010. The car has now done 81,500. I guess I need to take it for a service. if you say yes, do I need to go for a time/distance service or long life service? I am confused. Thanks.

Cam belt change interval is 80,000. I would use fixed interval 10K servicing. Regards Peter
