skoda yeti 1.2 petrol automatic - power failure - yeti

why does my new skoda yeti 1.2 petrol automatic have power failure problems on occasions when pulling away from a standstill ie at junctions,roundabouts etc and is it a common problem on this model.

I take it you mean the engine stalls?

Short answer, no, I suggest you take a trip to the dealer.

I did recently manage to stall my colleague's 10 plate Superb DSG, bringing the car almost to stationary on a slight uphill incline and then hitting the gas... apparently it does that sometimes, but rarely - it's only happened once to him and once to me in 12 months.
