Tracked once-a-day belt noise to a crankshaft pulley wobble. This runout seems to be the cause of belt noise in the first run of the day when auxiliary belt is dealing with alternator plus power steering plus aircon.
My query relates to the style of fabrication or mounting which might lead to this condition and whether this is a known/previously reported problem?
There was only one other car like it. In 2003, the Renault Megane CC was the only alternative genuine four seater with a hard top that folds away into the boot.
