Seat Leon 1.9 TDI - Excess Smoke and Pickup Problem - sushi

Hey Everyone,

I have a Seat Leon (06) which has started smoking excessively and the pickup isn't great. The temperature is staying at around 50 Degrees and Revs when not moving are below 1000 when they should be just above. The pickup is very poor and the engine is vibrating excessively along with the whole car.

I took it to a VW Garage as VW own seat. They said it is the injector which they then replaced and charged me £500 for but unfortunately that didn't resolve the problem. They now want to charge me another £700 to have a look inside the engine which makes me think I am being taken for a ride. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It certainly could be an injector problem but it could also be a lack of air, I would take it to an independent diesel specialist they usually know what they are doing and likely will be cheaper.
