Hoping somebody out there can help.
Fiat UNO k reg 999 fire engine with fuel injection. Very occaisionaly it will not start, turns over and there is a spark but no fuel. By dropping some fuel into the injector body or spraying some "easy start" style stuff it will start and no further problem. Any clues?

Check for intermittent fault in power supply to fuel pump, this could create the problem you describe. Check also for corrosion on the terminals of the fuel pump relay under the black plastic cover on the N/S turret in the engine compartment.

Oh, BTW, remember to disconnect the battery before playing with the electrics, to avoid sending unintended error messages to the ECU.

Thanks for that I will check out on my return home and let you know, as I said this is such a very intermittant problem it's difficult to know if one has fixed the problem or whether it just "decided" to work.
