Hi can anyone help me, the wipers on my Audi A3 (2004) work once, after switching on the ignition then won't work again. When I listen to the engine there seems to be a buzz\beep noise coming from the engine that stops after about 20 seconds, then a click. They still then don't work for a while.

I've checked the fuse and seems fine and I guess they wouldn't work at all if that had gone. Also checked the bonnet switch and that is working too.
