Mondeo 2.0TDCI TX estate - Mondeo 08 battery drain??? - wasahappylad

4th time in 2 years that there has been a probplem with the keyless start, and more recently. totally discharged battery overnight. This is the second time in a month that it's happened. AA said there is a software fault somewhere , and to take the vehicle to Ford, but Ford say that they need to see the vehicle in its broken state to ascertain the problem...

  • Anyone else had this happen?? (BTW the lights etc are left to auto so "should" not drain )

might be the begining of battery failure,does it have a ford calcium label on the battery.
