What is the correct procedure to fill/top up the rad, and removing an air lock?
With the heater switched on hot remove the expansion tank filler cap start car and leave,any air will come out when the thermostat opens could take half an hour .Engines oft his BMW type are prone to water pump failure,and head gasget problems.
