My Renault scenic 54 plate 1.6L 16V has got a problem and needs help. ok I had the dashboard display replaced about 2 weeks ago by Renault cost £100 (Renaults fault the dash display goes off) then all of a sudden the emission warning light came on and the car runs ruff just ticking over on the drive, and a spluttering noise comes from the back of exhaust, when I try to accelerate the car loses power. Also it’s using alot more petrol than before so I changed the spark plugs (quite easy to do) and there is a big difference in the way it runs BUT the warning lights back on and the car is slowly starting to run ruff again. Any help would be great thanks for your time reading this

Could be the crankshaft timing sensor - costs ~£20 to purchase.
