Any - childrens car seating - pointlesspoints

I would like to buy a car not an MPV which could accomadate childerns seats across the rear seats for 1 new born baby, a 2 year old and a 4 year old. The 4 year old could be on a booster seat. Any recommendations please?

I think you'll find there's very few cars that can take three child seats abreast. I recall someone I know having that problem, they ended up with an MPV.

But why would you want to sit three kids next to each other in the back of a car? My two together were an excellent contraceptive!

Ford S-Max? A 7-seater gives you the choice of having one child in the 'very' back - that might make your eldest feel grown-up and thus well-behaved.

If they have to be in line, there's no easier way than to trail round the dealers and try the cars for fit. Child car seats vary in width and some will it and some won't.
