Citroen C5 - Broken CD player - jonnyc500

Hi,

Im having trouble getting my cd player to work, it happened when i was driving the other day, i skipped a song on my ipod then it stopped working and i could smell burning.

I have checked every fuse and had the cd player out to check connections/fuse etc, does anybody have any idea what could of happened before i invest in a new cd player.

If you do go down the replacement radio route you can buy radio frames so that you can fit a standard radio and if you go for a sony,jvc,alpine you can get the steering wheel controls to work.

yeah i think thats the way i'll have to go, just though somebody on here would an idea.

I can get the original manufacters Cd player for £30-£40
