Nissan Micra K11 - Brake Light Electrical Problem - Iain K11

A little problem with my Micra... When the headlights are off and i press the brake pedal, the brake lights work but the side lights also come on. When the headlights are on and i press the brake pedal, the brake lights work but are very very dim, probably illegally so.

I'm sure i can sort the problem myself, its just directing the hammer to the right part... :)

I would guess that one of the brake/tail bulbs is faulty or a problem with a rear lamp holder contacts.hth

All sorted now. After checking the old bulbs, it turns out that one of them was a single filament bulb rather than a duel. Something so simple.
