1995 3.0 24v Mitsubishi Shogun - Mystery radiator?? - noisytappets

Helo...I have just bought a shogun and had to put it in my lockup ang dash off to do other things. I noticed a small radiator in front of the cooling system rad and am wondering what it is. I dont know about air con and there is a hole where the air con switch would be if it was fitted. I wont see the car now until tomorow and would like to know if Shoguns have a second small radiator or must it be air con just with the switch missing.

Intercoolers are equally common to Petrol and they are diesels. What is connected to the rad, large air pipes, or oil lines, it could be a cooler for the transmission fluid or even the steering fluid. Regards Peter

PeterD's on the right track i reckon, transmission cooler or aircon condensor i would think.

Get under and see where the pipes go, you shouldn't need to jack it up.
