Vauxhall Vectra B facelift - vectra 2.2 diesel oil filter housing - ray l

i am trying to change the oil filter but cannot undo the housing! is it a normal right hand thread?

yes they are a standard thread anti clockwise to undo, Regards TB

thanks for that, there is an arrow on top going clockwise, thought it best to check. still cannot move the thing, will try it when it is cold, see if it makes any difference. whoever did it up last time must have really cranked it on
