Sighting poll - the urban fox - oilrag

Have you ever seen one? If so, where and what was it doing?

Funnily enough, despite being up at 5am most Mornings, I`ve never seen one locally. Perhaps it`s because we are in a plastic rubbish bin area and in the suburbs.

Once saw a rat run across the ring road, between two competing fast food places, but never a fox.

Saw a chicken cross the road once. Thought it wise not to ask wise though.

Thought I'd post this so as not to make you feel alone in posting c***.

Not seen one close enough to ask 'are you urban or rural?'.

But the other day one of them managed to make away with the whole (whatever the collective noun is) of a neighbour's eight hens and, fortunately, also the cock. I didn't offer to pay the fox to take the cock, but had I had the afore-mentioned conversation, I would have.

It's a myth - probaby urban - that cocks say 'Cock-a-doodle-doo' . It's more like 'Ark-a-google-erk'.

Interesting question, c.rap may soon well return, but if people are using the words inappropriately posts may well be heavily edited as I wouldn't want my Gran to be offended if she read these posts.

Seen one in the garden, being chased by magpies after the same food.
