56 Mazda6 2.0D sakata - Plz help with Mazda6 DPF - usman213

HI IVE JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A MAZDA6 2.0D SAKATA, IM AWARE THAT THERE HAVE BEEN ISSUES WITH THE DPF BUT I DO MAINLY MOTORWAY MILES SO HOPING I SHOULD BE OK HOWEVER I STILL ONE TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT AN JUST REALISED THAT WHEN I SWITCH ON THE IGNITION ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS COME ON EXCEPT FOR TH DPF SO IM WORRIED THAT IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE DPF I WILL BE UNAWARE IF THE LIGHT DOESNT WORK. CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE?

IM PRETTY SURE THERE IS, ITS IN THE MANUAL, PLUS THE DIPSTICK HAS THE X LEVEL AND ITS A 2006 MODEL. HELP PLZ ANYONE???

Hi,

Why dont you just take it down to the dealer and ask them?

Also, the manual usually includes everything even things not designed for your car. I am sure a 56 plate diesel should have a DPF though.

Your local dealer should be more than understanding in what your asking without charging you a thing.

It means, somebody removed lamp from the dash, your mazda is equipped with dpf
