Earning NCDs on 2 different cars - Honda Buyer

Hi all,

basically my wife is the registered owner of both of our cars and the insurance is in her name for both cars. I am registered as the main driver on one of them as i drive that more then she does and she is registered as main driver on the one she drives more.

My question is: currently, she has 5 years NCD (Protected) on the car i drive most of the time and is in the first year of insurance on her car.

i know you can't use a NCD on 2 separate cars, but can she build up 2 lots of NCDs on 2 different cars? Ie, she builds up the NCDs on the car i drive (to eg 7 years) and at the same time, build up 2 years of NCD on her new car?

any answers much appreciated!

Yes,if they are on two seperate polices-no,if it is two cars on one policy.
