My car (10 yrs old) was involved in a minor accident a month ago but was written off (catorary c) because of the main dealers huge estimate.

I was able to get the car back and had it repaired, but now i cant get it re-insured.

The insurance company wont insure it again without a vin check and enginners report done in liverpool (i live 20 miles away).

I have got a new MOT done and passed ok but this is not enough.

I have read the rules for the vic check and it has to be insured for the check.

Oviously i can't get it insured without the vic check and i can''t get a vic check without insurance, catch 22.

I suppose my only options are to have it trailerd down to the vic site (probbley very expensive) or just drive it there and hope they dont check at im insured (not very likley and risky).

I'm begining to wish i scrapped it, but its still in good condition.and i've spent over £400 on the repair and MOT.
