Has anyone else had to reset all preset radio stations,re-adjust bass/treble controls etc,and reset the clock following 2 slow turnovers of the engine before the turnover reverts back to usual and starts the car.All other functions remain unchanged.I have a diesel 136.

Sounds like the battery voltage is dipping either due to the battery being on the way out or excess current temporarily drawn by the starter motor, probably the former. I'd get the battery checked out.
