The screen wash pump has ceased to function when selected on the stalk. However, the pump when tested with an independent supply is fully serviceable. The pump draws its supply from the fuse box sharing a fuse with other working circuits. Am I right in thinking that the pump energising part of the stalk assembly is defunct or is there something else I should bear in mind.
If it proves expensive, I shall install a separate switch and fuse for the pump.

IMO It's probably the switch on the stalk. Best bet is to get down to the local scrappies and get one off another Pug. Can't see it costing more than £10 if your car is more than a few years old.
