Two questions Fiesta and Astra. - mark.b
i own a 99 fiesta 1.25 can anyone tell me what the valve on the rear of the head is for (looks like a standard tyre valve with a blue screw on cap)


also looking to buy an astra 00-02 1.6 what should i look out for what is build quality like , i drove a mk1 vectra sri an build quality was shocking , also can the clutch still be changed without removing the box as you could with older vauxhalls

two questions - bell boy
its on the end of the fuel rail and under fuel pressure ,leave it alone

8 valve 1.6 nice engines
16 valve engines alright till they done the miles but someones screwed the lcd back to make it look young (buy with caution)
make sure steering rack works ok
make sure all switches work ok
make sure engine nice and warm and radiator fan cuts in an out
make sure steering wheel horn buttons havent fallen to bits (see clocking bit above)
confirm yellow light works on dash and doesnt twinkle at you as car is driven on test drive (think egr or a million other things think vauxhall think life)

clutch needs box off
