Heated Rear Window - how do you repair elements? - softopdriver
I have managed to scratch 3 of the elements on my HRW and it is very noticeable now when there is frost on the outside. I'm sure I once heard of some kind of 'paint on' product that effectively reconnects the broken tracks, but does anyone know what it is called or have any experience of it?

Yes - you should be able to get small tubes of conductive glue from your local autospares shop. it works - for a bit; take care not to clean window too vigorously. Obviously it will only work if the elements are on the surface!

It is conductive paint, usually availiable in car accesory shops. Mask each side of the damaged element with tape and apply a couple of coats across the break.
