04 1.6 Particle filter warning message. - hitman

got this message a while ago:PARTICLE FILTER CYCLE REGENERATION URGENT!.Took the filter out and cleaned it, put it back on and the message still shows and it now makes a lot of smoke.

No need to shout !!!

Even the very risky (to you and your health) DIY procedure won't put the warning light out. Does your engine have the EOLYS additive injection system? In broad terms the engine needs 10 minutes a week at over 50 mph to prevent to filter clogging - does it get this sort of use?
