What sort of tools do you want to run from it?
You can use a small compressor for things like tyre inflation or a blow gun, but you'll need something bigger if you want to be using an air chisel.

I would mostly be using the impact wrench or the wrench

Air compressors for Car Maintenance - bell boy
you need
3hp
150 litre tank
as much air per minute as you can get
all those tools you mention just gobble air up
look at somewhere like machine mart or thorite and expect to pay £400/£500
make sure also your electric mains wiring is up to the surge on starting and also the amperage pulled (too technical for me but watch your leccy meter spin when she blows )

Don't scrimp by getting one slightly less than specified by the toola nd hoping it will be OK, or you will have trouble powering air wrenches and have to keep waiting for pressure to build back up as the cylinder recharges. I made this mistake.
