04 2.0 Quick clear windscreens. - Hillfly
I have seen a focus I want to buy but the quickclear windscreen is "missing" ie it's been replaced with a non quickclear - but the button is there and the spec has comfot pack so it should be there?

Would it be possible to replace the screen with a quickclear or will the connection points be damaged by this non QC screen?

Any advice appreciated.

There should be no problem here.If the original connections are intact at the base of screen,under plastic scuttle panel,then the heated screen will just plug in.hth

If the contacts are OK, and you do get a new screen fitted, be sure to check the fuses. The QC fuse may well have be removed when the windscreen was downgraded.

If your current windscreen is undamaged it's worth trying to negotiate a part exchange deal for the Quick Clear Windscreen.
