Picked up the latest copy of TG magazine in Whsmith and the review of the Jazz i-Shift fairly lept off the page. The overall rating - 7/20. With the reviewer saying that a manual Jazz is a 16/20 car, but the i-Shift is one of the worst gearboxes on sale today
Honda pride themselves on listening to customers. I wonder how if they'll respond to this from a big-selling magazine?

If it can't get the I-Shift under 121g/km and into the £35 a year bracket then most potential customers would rather sacrifice two or three mpg to get a proper auto.
..but then does Honda run into trouble with EU corporate emission targets?
|
But aren't the divisions for emissions and VED pretty much arbitrary anyway?
In the same way as the received wisdom on units of alcohol per week until someone said fairly recently that those recommendations were no more than a rule of thumb?
|
I do hope they listen, that i-shift box in the Jazz is a big mistake.
How anyone can defend it (and there are a few on here) as being OK I'll never know!
